GdS: Piatek looks for a turning point; crucial to avoid January loan

By Isak Möller -

Another round, another chance. Kris Piatek is desperately looking for a turning point as his start to this season has been far from good. This evening, he is expected to start in Milan’s clash with Napoli.

The game will be decisive for the Rossoneri, who no longer can afford to slip up, currently sitting in 14th place in the standings. As Gazzetta Dello Sport highlights (via MilanNews.it), the Polish striker is a real puzzle for the team.

Furthermore, as the report continues, the next five games will be crucial to understand the future of Piatek, starting with today’s one. Of course, he wants to convince the management that a loan move in January isn’t a good idea.

However, not only that, but the striker also needs to cement his spot before the imminent arrival of another striker (Ibra?). In short, he needs to get on the scoresheet and perhaps the goal with Poland is a good omen of what’s to come.
