GdS: Pioli will rely heavily on attacking trio – each set for double figures

By Isak Möller -

As the international break has come to an end, AC Milan will enter the true season finale this evening as they will face Bologna. For what remains of the season, Stefano Pioli will rely on especially threw players.

The players in question, as highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), are Rafael Leao, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud. They are each on eight goals in the league and are thus approaching double figures.

Leao and Giroud are both expected to start against Bologna, while Ibrahimovic could make an appearance off the bench. The Frenchman has just returned from international duty, during which he scored two goals and is thus in great form.

Should all of them make it to double figures, it would be similar to the 2010/11 Scudetto season when Ibrahimovic, Pato and Robinho all reached double figures. There are still eight games left of the season so it isn’t unlikely.
