GdS: Probable XIs for Atalanta vs. Milan – Pioli makes one significant change

By Isak Möller -

This evening, Atalanta and Milan will take on each other at the Gewiss Stadium. For the home side, this game is only important for prize money, while the Rossoneri are fighting for a spot in the Champions League.

Stefano Pioli’s men most likely need to win to secure their spot in the competition and thus a good performance will be needed. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ante Rebic out, the manager has been forced to make a change to the XI.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (see below), Rafael Leao is set to start up front and that is a significant change for the Rossoneri. The Portuguese youngster is more of a winger and this will result in a different style of game tonight.

As for Atalanta, Hans Hateboer wasn’t included in the squad and will thus be replaced by the Dane Joakim Maehle. Other than that, the XI is a very strong one and Milan will have to watch out this evening.
