GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Cagliari – Just one change as winger returns

By Isak Möller -

Milan will take on Cagliari at San Siro tomorrow and thanks to two consecutive wins, they can secure their spot in next season’s Champions League. In other words, the game is very important for the players and the club.

Per Gazzetta Dello Sport, Stefano Pioli will make just one change to the starting XI and keep the consistency. Alexis Saelemaekers is back from his suspension and will replace Samu Castillejo on the right-wing, which is a boost for Milan.

All of the usual starters have done really well lately and it’s clear that the Rossoneri are in great form. Having said that, they can’t underestimate Cagliari as they are also in great form with no losses in the last five games.

This all makes for a very interesting game from a neutral point of view, while we can expect it to be nerve-racking for the Milan fans unless it’s a Torino-esque trashing. Down below are the probable XIs for the clash.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Calhanoglu; Rebic.

Probable Cagliari XI (3-4-1-2): Cragno; Ceppitelli, Godin, Carboni; Nandez, Marin, Duncan, Lykogiannis; Nainggolan; Joao Pedro, Pavoletti.
