GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Genoa – New chance for loanee; Leao up front

After the 3-1 win against Parma, which was impressive considering they went down to ten men, Milan will take on Genoa tomorrow morning. As the Champions League race is extremely tight, they need another three points.

Stefano Pioli doesn’t have too many injuries to worry about, with just Davide Calabria and Daniel Maldini left on that list, and thus he won’t make many changes to the XI. Per Gazzetta Dello Sport (see below), he will make two changes.

Diogo Dalot came off the bench against Parma and added an assist to his name, performing better than usual on the right flank. Therefore, he’s in pole position to start in that position and ahead of Pierre Kalulu who got the nod last time out.

In attack, the trio will remain unchanged but as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended, Pioli will have to field Rafael Leao in the centre-forward. He got on the scoresheet against Parma so hopefully, he has the confidence needed to do well.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Leao.

Probable Genoa XI (3-5-2): Perin; Goldaniga, Zapata, Masiello; Ghiglione, Behrami, Melegoni, Strootman, Czyborra; Destro, Scamacca.
