Il Giornale: Galatasaray interested in AC Milan striker Kalinic

By Oliver Fisher -

Turkish giants Galatasaray have arrived to offer Nikola Kalinic a chance to escape his AC Milan nightmare, a report claims.

According to Milan-based newspaper Il Giornale, Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim – a coach at the Rossoneri back in 2001 – has declared his interest in the Croatia international.

Having joined from Fiorentina last summer, Kalinic did not enjoy a successful debut season at San Siro leading to speculation he could leave.

His attitude has also been called into question as he was sent home from the World Cup after refusing to come on in the game against Nigeria.

His former Fiorentina and current Croatia team-mate, Milan Badelj, criticised Kalinic for his attitude at the tournament.
