La Repubblica: Milan offer two-year deal to free agent Arbeloa

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid have not extended Alvaro Arbeloa’s contract and the Spaniard is now free to join any other club for nothing.

AC Milan are heavily linked with welcoming the player’s services and according to La Repubblica, the rossoneri have offered the 33-year-old defender a €2 million, two-year-deal.

Arbeloa has plenty of international experience, having won two Champions Leaguea with Real Madrid as well as two European Championships and one World Cup with Spain.

He is a full-back and can play on the right or left side of the pitch, much like current Milan defender Mattia de Sciglio.

He has played for Real Madrid, Liverpool and Deportivo La Coruna, amassing 356 matches throughout his career. Will AC Milan be his next stop?
