Libero: Thiago Silva has heart set on summer AC Milan return

By Oliver Fisher -

According to the latest reports from Italian newspaper Libero, Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has set his sights on a summer return to AC Milan.

Reports suggest that the Brazilian has grown increasingly frustrated with life in the French capital, especially after PSG went crashing out of the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid last month.

Given the fact he is now 33 years of age, it is unlikely that the Parisiens would be able to command a significant transfer fee.

However, one stumbling block could be that he currently earns almost €12million per season, which is significantly more than the Rossoneri would be able to offer him at the moment.

It is worth noting that current PSG coach Unai Emery is set to depart at the end of the season, meaning the replacement could cause Thiago Silva to have a change of heart.
