Lucas Biglia to AC Milan a done deal, reports Sky Italia

Milan have been working fast this transfer window to improve their squad. After signing Franck Kessié, they are now close to completing the signing of Lucas Biglia to further improve their midfield.

The long awaited wait for a new regista seems to finally be coming to an end after agreeing on a deal with 31-year-old Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia. Milan have reached an agreement with Lazio at €25m, including bonuses, while Biglia will sign a three-year-deal worth €3.5m a year, according to Sky Italia.

Although that may seem a lot for a 31-year-old, it is no doubt that Biglia will bring much-needed experience to this side’s midfield, especially if Montella intends to start Kessie and perhaps Locatelli in the midfield. Moreover, Lazio will have to do without their captain and best midfielder, which weakens their squad.

In the coming days, Milan will also negotiate for Atalanta right-back Andrea Conti, who already has decided that he wants to join the Rossoneri.
