Mediaset: Hypothesis of swap deal involving Suso, Demiral ‘taking shape’

By Oliver Fisher -

The idea of a swap deal between AC Milan and Juventus involving Suso is currently being floated, according to a report.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with attacking reinforcements rather than defensive ones, but on Monday The Guardian claimed that Milan want Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo.

Meanwhile lapaginamillonaria.com stated later in the day that Milan are in talks over River Plate centre-back Lucas Martinez Quarta.

Then, Sky Italia (as cited by Milannews.it) stated that Milan are back in to sign Merih Demiral from Juventus and were willing to offer €35m, suggesting that a new defender is high on the priority list.

Now, a shock report from SportMediaset claims that there is the possibility of a swap deal involving Suso and Demiral.

Juventus are reportedly demanding a €35million fee for the Turkey international, a figure that Milan do not intend to offer as a cash sum, and as such the hypothesis of a swap deal is ‘taking shape’.

The report goes on to add that the Turin-based club are in a state of reflection and are currently more perplexed than anything else about the idea of adding another winger.

However, as Mediaset go on to add, Paratici needs to try and settle the books so offloading Demiral could be key to that, despite him having only arrived this summer.

If Demiral was to join Milan then it would free Mateo Musacchio to return to LaLiga and join either Valencia or Real Betis, while Suso’s departure could also help finally seal the deal for Angel Correa, it is claimed.

The report concludes by saying a lot will depend on the Rugani-Roma situation: if Rugani goes, then Demiral will stay.
