There are five players in the AC Milan team that are one yellow card away from being suspended for one Serie A match, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Rafael Leao, Ante Rebic and Olivier Giroud could cause a selection headache for Stefano Pioli in the near future.
Given the ease with which yellow cards can sometimes be collected, there is a very real chance that at least two of those players will end up suspended at the same time.
The coach will fear a scenario where Giroud and Leao both pick up yellow cards against Monza on Saturday evening and then both crucial forwards are out of the match against Atalanta the following weekend.
Similarly, the coach would not want to lose both Calabria and Kjaer from his backline at the same time, especially with the shift to three centre backs.
