AC Milan can now boast the most valuable squad in Serie A having just won the Scudetto, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, if you add up the individual values of each player in the Milan squad based on Transfermarkt’s records, it equates to more money than anyone else in the division.
The Milan squad has a worth of €522.40 million which is followed by Juventus with €520.90mn, Inter with €514.70mn, Napoli with €465.45mn, Roma with €385.35mn, Atalanta with €345.90mn, and then Lazio with €247.75mn.
It is a testament to the work that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara have done with the club because they have been outspent by others at the top for a few years.
Players such as Rafael Leao, Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Sandro Tonali and Theo Hernandez have seen their market values rocket in the past year or two under Stefano Pioli.
