As has been pointed out by Milan News, the 21-year-old is going to be one of the more experienced players in the squad when the first Champions League group games come around this season.
Due to the domestic success that he has enjoyed since getting into the first team at Club Brugge, he has had regular exposure the Champions League football.
He has played 16 times in Europe’s elite competition which is more than many key players at the club such as Rafael Leao.
The players with more appearances in the Champions League than him are Simon Kjaer (18), Tiémoué Bakayoko (25), Divock Origi (28), Alessandro Florenzi (47), Oliver Giroud (49) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (128).
