Tuttosport: Much of Milan’s transfer dealings are on standby during ownership change

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan’s ability to finalise deals and start constructing their squad for next season is being hindered by the change in ownership, a report claims.

Elliott Management are in the process of finalising the sale of the club to RedBird Capital and Tuttosport (via Milan News) are reporting this morning that the process is slowing the Rossoneri’s transfer dealings.

It seems likely that Divock Origi’s move from Liverpool to Milan will be finalised after the Champions League final that the Premier League side are a part of on Saturday evening.

The same cannot be said for Sven Botman who despite reaching an agreement with Milan for personal terms, will have to wait for an agreement to be found with Lille.

In the attack there are two other deals that Milan want to move forward with. There is Charles De Ketelaere from Club Brugge and also Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio who could be hard to reach.
