ML: Six untouchable players at AC Milan – two from each department

By Isak Möller -

Whatever happens this summer, there are six players that won’t leave AC Milan. Even in this uncertain situation, the Rossoneri still have a foundation to rely on and improve ahead of next season.

As reported by MilanLive.it this morning, the six players are Alessio Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez, Ismael Bennacer, Samuel Castillejo, Ante Rebic and Rafael Leão. In other words, two players from each department.

Should any offers arrive, then Milan will turn them down immediately. The Rossoneri believe that these players will be crucial in the imminent youth revolution, set to be lead by Ralf Rangnick who is in pole position to replace Stefano Pioli.

In the meantime, Milan are working to resolve any uncertainties within the club, including the future of Gigio Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Unlike the six above, the latter two could actually leave the club this summer, although that wouldn’t be ideal.
