MN: Ibrahimovic set for return as Pioli will include him in SPAL-Milan squad

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is nearing a return. The striker suffered an injury at the end of May and has since been working to recover as soon as possible. Milan will be glad to have him back, although Ante Rebic has done will in the No.9 role.

According to MilanNews.it, Ibrahimovic took part in the entire training session earlier today, will be included in Milan’s clash for the game against SPAL tomorrow. The list will be announced tomorrow and Stefano Pioli feels that the Swede is ready.

Ibrahimovic’s last game – bar the training friendly with Hammarby – was against Genoa before the league was brought to a halt. It remains to be seen if he will make an appearance tomorrow, although it’s almost certain that he will start on the bench.

The Rossoneri will travel to Ferrara by train, per the outlet, which will leave the station at 10 am. After the game, the team will return back to Milan immediately. Hopefully, they will have three points in the bag by then.
