MN: The latest on Milan’s outgoing mercato – from Gabbia to Messias

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have already parted ways with quite a few players and will say goodbye to a few more before the end of the transfer window. Fode Ballo-Toure is one of them but there are also potentially five more.

Stefano Pioli has made it clear that Milan need to change in order to remain competitive, and the management certainly feels the same. That’s also why there have been so many exits so far, while the new signings point toward a different Milan side.

According to MilanNews, the one that is closest to an exit currently is Fode Ballo-Toure. The left-back wants a starting spot next season and Nice have expressed their interest, ready to present an offer that’s in line with Milan’s demand (around €4m). Bologna are also pushing for the Senegalese international.

Moving on, Matteo Gabbia really needs playing time in order to continue his growth and a loan move is on the cards. Frosinone and Genoa are ready to battle it out for the centre-back. As for Junior Messias, Torino are working on the matter.

Divock Origi and Ante Rebic both have suitors in Turkey but the economic demands of not just Milan, but also the players, make things difficult. Finally, Charles De Ketelaere has attracted the interest of several clubs from abroad but Milan need around €28m in order to avoid a capital loss.

  1. Origi & rebic keep reject all offer. It would be hard to offlload both of them . ACM better find solution for rebic especially , he cannot work with pioli anymore due to clash last season
