MN: Pioli expected to field both Rebic and Origi from the start vs. Monza

Another report has emerged suggesting that there could be some rotation in the attacking department for tomorrow’s game against Monza at San Siro.

According to the latest from MilanNews, head coach Stefano Pioli is expected to give Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud a rest, meaning that the Portuguese and Frenchman should therefore start from the bench.

During this morning’s training session at Milanello, Divock Origi was tried as the centre-forward, while on the left flank it was Ante Rebic who was used, suggesting that they will be the duo to get the nod for the visit of Monza tomorrow evening.

Leao and Giroud have been working overtime this season so far because of the repeated injury problems that Origi and Rebic have had, but now that the Belgian and the Croatian are back it allowed Pioli to rotate, seemingly just as he plans to do tomorrow at San Siro.
