MN: Trio train individually at Milanello and are expected to return vs. Monza

Mike Maignan will not be risked on Sunday against Hellas Verona despite suggestions that he has already recovered from his calf problem.

According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported this morning, Maignan is pushing to return early after the calf injury he sustained during his duty with the French national team that has kept him out in recent weeks.

MilanNews report that the Milan squad returned to training at Milanello today after the rest day granted by Stefano Pioli yesterday. This morning the team also began their preparations ahead of Sunday night’s match against Hellas Verona at the Bentegodi.

Simon Kjaer, Mike Maignan and Charles De Ketelaere continued with their individual work and therefore did not train with the rest of the group. At this point it is difficult to imagine any will recover for Sunday, so for all three the focus is on Monza and Dinamo Zagreb.
