Updates have arrived on the seven AC Milan players who are currently sat on the sidelines with various problems.

Stefano Pioli has been battling an injury crisis again in the last couple of games, and now MilanNews have provided some news on how the Rossoneri’s treatment room is looking.

Simon Kjaer: Left the field in the game against Juventus due to discomfort in his right thigh. He will observe a few days of rest and treatment, but an MRI ruled out a serious muscle problem.

Rade Krunic: Sustained a right calf problem while on international duty with Bosnia. The healing process is progressing well and a new check-up is scheduled for next week.

Tiemoue Bakayoko: The French midfielder is disposing of the after-effects of a major blunt trauma that involved pain in his left Achilles tendon. A new check is planned for Bakayoko next week.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: The Swede – who is battling discomfort in the Achilles tendon – feels better and has begun to work individually on the field to assess progress.

Olivier Giroud: The French striker is better and has started running again.

Junior Messias: This week the Brazilian winger will proceed with the last phase of the customised athletic reconditioning program.

Davide Calabria: The Italian full-back reported an elongation of the right thigh flexor muscle.
