AC Milan’s treatment room is gradually emptying and at the moment there are five players who are set to miss the game against Monza on Saturday.
MilanNews report that Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemaekers will all not be available for this weekend’s match, and almost all of them have the same expected return time.

Starting with Maignan, the Frenchman suffered a new injury to his left calf in training yesterday and will be evaluated again in 10 days, but it seems unlikely he will play another game for Milan in 2022 and the World Cup is in doubt too.
Florenzi is expected to return to the field in February of the new year due to the injury he sustained to his hamstring tendon. The same goes for Ibrahimovic and Calabria: the Swede had an operation immediately after the Scudetto win for the reconstruction of his cruciate ligaments, while the full-back suffered a hamstring tear in the Empoli match.
The return of Saelemaekers is closer, but he too will miss the World Cup due to the partial injury of the collateral ligament, but he will be able to return in time for the resumption of the league season after the tournament in Qatar.
