Milan are going to try something quite wacky during the international break.
With most of the Rossoneri’s squad off during the international break, Coach Vincenzo Montella has to prepare ahead of the upcoming friendly against Bournemouth, and is thinking of using unpopular new arrival Jose Sosa as a defensive midfielder.
“We have few players, and we’ll have to stretch things a little tactically,” Montella told the media in his latest press conference, “and this won’t help the players.”
“Sosa instead of Montolivo? I’m fascinated by the possibility, we’re working on it and we’ll experiment it in training today.”
“I think he has the characteristics to do it, but he needs to get used to doing it in a game scenario, which is different from training.”
