By Isak Möller -

On the eve of the clash between Milan and Inter, also knows as the Derby Della Madonnina, Stefano Pioli has announced his 23-man squad. There are no big surprises, except a positive one.

Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic are both injured and will miss out on the important clash, which isn’t ideal for Pioli. However, Brahim Diaz has recovered from his injury and has been called up for the game.

GOALKEEPERS
A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma, Tătărușanu.

DEFENDERS
Calabria, Dalot, Gabbia, Hernández, Kalulu, Kjær, Romagnoli, Tomori.

MIDFIELDERS
Çalhanoğlu, Castillejo, Díaz, Hauge, Kessie, Krunić, Meïte, Saelemaekers, Tonali.

FORWARDS
Ibrahimović, Leão, Rebić.

As mentioned, there are no other surprises in the squad and the manager will be able to field a strong XI against the city rivals tomorrow. It will be the usual picks, per Sky Italia, and that isn’t surprising given the importance of the game.

The game is scheduled for 15:00 CET and with a win, Milan would leapfrog the Nerazzurri and thus reclaim first place in the league standings. Furthermore, it would be a big boost to their confidence.
