Pioli aims jab at Juve and Napoli as Milan want to ‘play every three-four days”

By Isak Möller -

Yesterday, it was announced that the clash between Juventus and Napoli has been postponed yet again. Stefano Pioli was asked about this during his presser today and provided a great answer.

It’s not exactly a secret that this season has been very demanding, not only mentally but also physically, as the teams have been forced to play every 3-4 days. For that reason, the two teams requested to postpone their encounter again.

Juventus and Napoli will play the game on April 7 instead of Wednesday next week, which was only made possible by their elimination from Champions League and Europa League respectively. During his press (via MilanNews), Pioli was asked about this.

What do you think about the new postponement of Juve-Napoli?

“We hope to go as far as possible in Europa League and play every three-four days, we aim to fight until the end. It’s better for you to comment on what others are doing,” he stated.

Milan will take on Napoli tomorrow evening and it’s a big opportunity for both sides, with the Partenopei looking to re-enter the race for a top-four finish. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, want to further cement their position in second place.
