Premium: Ibrahimovic offered to AC Milan; decision in two weeks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s new ownership have their sights set on adding a star striker before the end of the summer transfer window.

They have already signed ten new players ahead of the 2017/18 season, including the likes of Leonardo Bonucci, Ricardo Rodriguez, Lucas Biglia, Franck Kessie, Hakan Calhanoglu and Andre Silva.

The last name in that list arrived from Porto and was widely tipped to be the Rossoneri’s new starting striker, however the club have since been linked with moves for big names such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Andrea Belotti and Diego Costa.

Now, a new name has been linked with Milan, but he is not unknown to Milanisti. PremiumSport journalist Paolo Bargiggia claims that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could make a return to AC Milan.

According to him, the Swedish giant – who has been released from Manchester United following a knee injury – has been proposed to Milan.

The bid from Ibra’s side is €7million per season, and Milan will make a decision within two weeks, about mid-August.

Zlatan was linked with a high-profile return to the Rossoneri last summer before agent Mino Raiola took him to Manchester United. The former Inter and Juventus man is currently still recovering from his ligament injury and is expected to miss the first six months of the season.
