The agent of AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma has quashed rumours that his client will be benched if he refuses a new deal.
Recent reports have linked the 18-year-old with a move to Manchester City and Manchester United, however it has also been stated that Milan have issued an ultimatum regarding his renewal.
Speaking to Radio Deejay, agent Mino Raiola spoke about the future of the ‘keeper.
“No one ever said that Gigio does not want to renew with Milan,” Raiola said.
“He will spend a year in the stands? I do not think the AC Milan executives have said such a thing. I think they want to just let us make war between me and Milan.
“After the national team games Gigio will go on vacation, then we’ll see what happens. We are talking with Milan, we will see, we will evaluate things and we will have to assess.”
