AC Milan have turned their attentions to Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos having been disappointed in their pursuit of Lucas Torreira, a report claims.
Despite persistent speculation that the Rossoneri are very interested in reuniting Torreira with new head coach Marco Giampaolo at San Siro, it appears Arsenal are unwilling to sell their prized midfield asset.
As a result Frederic Massara, Paolo Maldini and the rest of Milan’s leadership are now examining other options as they are determined to give Giampaolo a new midfielder to aid the 4-3-1-2 system he wishes to implement.
According to both the Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica, Ceballos is now the name being focused on, with a €40m bid being readied by Milan.
Reports emerged recently suggesting a loan bid with option to buy had been launched, while the Spanish media believe it will take €50m for Real to part with the Spain U21 star.
