Repubblica: AC Milan owners eye big name striker in summer

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan leadership still have their sights on securing a ‘big name’ striker for next season, according to a report.

According to repubblica.it, the Chinese property of Milan has no intention of giving up, rather it is ready to reinforce the team in the summer transfer window.

The club spent over €200million last summer to bring in a wealth of new players, but there are concerns over the financial position of the Rossoneri as Champions League qualification looks unlikely.

Due to pressures from Financial Fair Play, the buying campaign will not be as intense as last year, but there is still the will to aim for a big name in attack, La Repubblica claims.
