Romano: Sassuolo slap €35m price tag on star winger – the truth about Milan’s interest

By Isak Möller -

Jeremie Boga has had an amazing season and he never seems to slow down, improving week by week. Since Sassuolo signed him permanently from Chelsea, the price tag has certainly increased a lot.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano of Calciomercato.com, Milan have been mentioned as a possible destination for a long time, but there haven’t been any contacts with the player’s agent. The Rossoneri like him and Boga has thus remained on their list of targets.

Meanwhile, Napoli are in pole position despite receiving a negative response to their first offer of €20-25m. Sassuolo have upped the price tag to €35m, which will be the base of any upcoming negotiations.

In other words, the Partenopei will have to come up and it remains to be seen if Milan will make an attempt as well. Boga knows about the interest but it clearly hasn’t affected his performances, considering how he has played as of late.
