AC Milan will face Hellas Verona tomorrow at the San Siro in the next round of Serie A and Stefano Pioli’s team might have to deal with the absence of several important players, as already revealed by the Rossoneri coach in his press conference.
According to Sky Sport (via milanlive.it), Zlatan Ibrahimovic could miss tomorrow’s match as he has been suffering from the flu and a calf discomfort during the week. He already recovered from the latter problem but the combination of issues could lead to the Rossoneri having the obligation to deal without the Swede.
In that case, Pioli could field an unprecedented attack: Rafael Leao together with Ante Rebic. The latter is untouchable given his excellent form right now and the Portuguese striker is also doing well.
Simon Kjaer is another player who could miss the match, also suffering from the flu, while Rade Krunic has a muscle issue. The Danish international would be replaced by Musacchio, while Calhanoglu could take Krunic’s place in the midfield.
