Sky: Milan have a near complete XI of concrete targets for summer mercato

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are expected to make some reinforcements ahead of next season and the targets are stacking up. In fact, as was highlighted by a report today, the Rossoneri almost have a full XI of concrete targets.

Many names have been linked with the Rossoneri in the last few weeks, which was to be expected. However, there are quite a few concrete links that should be looked at with interest, especially since reinforcements are indeed expected.

Earlier today, Sky Italia (via Pasquale La Ragione) published a graphic of Milan’s concrete targets this summer, putting them in a starting eleven. Only two positions are missing and the point that the outlet was trying to make is that the Rossoneri have a lot going on.

Decisions must be made on the likes of Alessandro Florenzi, Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli, while there are some targets to look at (see photo below). Divock Origi is more or less done, and the closest after him seems to be Renato Sanches.

    1. Good point Coco, I prefer Cambiaso personally.

Also in goal do we keep Plizzari or send him put for yet another loan? I think in UCL they are requiring a higher number of homegrown players next season.

  1. We definitely need the LB backup more than anything. Having Theo fit for the whole season again is really lucky and at the same time it is a bit irresponsible towards him. That he has to play even with minor injuries against mediocre oponents because we don’t have a backup.

    1. Not realy. With his versatility between cm and cam combined with De Ketelaere as starters, we can easily switch between 423, 442 and 433 in a match with only one substitution.

For me, Milan only needs 5 signing. 3 Marquee signings: Sanchez, Ketelaere, and Noa lang; and 2 potential squad players: A cb and a cover for Theo on the LB
Ketelaere can cover AM and ss (442), Noa for RW and AM. Sanches for CAM and CM.

Theo’understudy will cover him in weaker opponents and provides needed rest for him or his clumsiness with suspension.
A new cb would provides cb cover in 3 competitions we’re in and replace outgoing Romagnoli. He can grows for the future because we already has 3 starters in Tomori, Kjaer and Kalulu

  2. I wld like to see Renato first. Noa Lang on d right side of attack, and, any other player they can bring in. All eyes will be on us next season, and we have to be ready for d challenge
