Sky: Milan’s probable XI to face Sampdoria – Diaz and Tonali win respective battles

By Isak Möller -

With just one day left until Milan’s encounter with Sampdoria, Italian media outlets have released their respective probable line-ups for the game. Although usually the same, this isn’t the case today.

Contrary to Gazzetta Dello Sport’s report this morning, Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) are now saying that Brahim Diaz has won the battle against Jens Petter Hauge. The Spaniard, therefore, will play from the first minute on the left flank.

Furthermore, while Gazzetta said Bennacer would be back from start, Sky are claiming that Sandro Tonali will start alongside Franck Kessie in the midfield tandem. Other than that, though, the probable XIs are identical and what you would expect.

Ante Rebic will start up front once again, looking to break his personal deadlock as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still recovering from his injury. With the help of his teammates, hopefully, he will get on the scoresheet tomorrow.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Gabbia, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Diaz; Rebic.
