Sky: No confirmation on Milan’s interest as Juve-owned winger could leave Bayern

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the summer, Milan are monitoring the market to find the right opportunities, looking to reinforce the squad even more. In addition to a striker, it seems they could also go for a right-winger.

Just two days ago, Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported that the Rossoneri are evaluating the idea of signing Douglas Costa from Juventus. The winger is currently on loan at Bayern Munich and the latter seem unwilling to exercise the buy-out clause.

Therefore, Costa could return to the Turin side earlier than expected to join another club and get some playing time. However, as reported by Sky Italia (via MilanLive), there is no confirmation on Milan’s interest and there are no ongoing negotiations.

As Romano confirmed to us on our podcast, Florian Thauvin is one of the names Milan are keeping tabs on for the right-wing. The Frenchman is sitting on an expiring contract and could join them for free in the summer.
