Sky: Probable Milan XI to face Napoli – Four changes as Calabria picks up injury

By Isak Möller -

Milan are gearing up to face Napoli at San Siro on Sunday evening, which will be a very important game for them. Still in second place, they will be looking to add another three points to their tally.

Despite the recent injury struggles, Stefano Pioli’s men have powered through and most recently managed a 1-1 draw away at Man Utd. According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), a few players will return for Sunday’s clash, but another one could miss out.

The man in question is Davide Calabria, who picked up a minor injury in the game against Man Utd and was subbed off. He didn’t train with the team today, per the report, and it remains to be seen he will be available for the game.

We should know more tomorrow as Milan will have their final training session in the morning, followed by Pioli’s press conference. With regards to the XI, there could thus be four changes, as highlighted by the report.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Dalot, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Kessie, Tonali; Castillejo, Calhanoglu, Krunic; Leao.

  1. What? Kessie isn’t getting a rest at all?! Don’t they think they’re overworking the man?! Shouldn’t he be fresh for the M-Utd 2 leg?! Meite and Tonalli could be good starters for this game…
