Super Mario may have potential suitors in search for next club

By SempreMilan -

Surprisingly, it looks like there are clubs that are still interested in signing AC Milan, Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli.

Scorer of just three goals in all competitions with the rossoneri this season, ‘Super Mario’ is rumoured to have attracted the interest of Turkish club Galatasaray that would buy the Italian striker to a permanent deal.

It is unlikely that Jurgen Klopp has the Italian in his plans for Liverpool next season, meaning that Balo would have to find a new club.

Balotelli, who was left out of Italy’s Euro 2016 squad, admitted in April that he would be reluctant to link up with the Reds once more.

“In terms of my future I want to stay with Milan because I was not happy at Liverpool and don’t want to go back,” Balotelli said.

Milan have confirmed that 25-year-old will not be redeemed by the Rossoneri after his poor spell, leaving Mario at yet another career crossroads.

Berlusconi said earlier this month: “There will be many departures because players such as Alex, Mexes, Boateng and Balotelli are at the end of their contracts.”

He has shown glimmers of potential in his time back at San Siro, but these have been few and far between, something which will worry potential suitors.

Still, his off-field antics have taken a backseat for perhaps the first time in his career, and the name he carries might just mean he gets another club.
