TMW: Newly-promoted Frosinone initiate talks with Milan over trio

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are expected to make quite a few sales this summer and work is underway on that front, not to mention Sandro Tonali. Three youngsters could also move on loan, with Frosinone interested.

Frosinone achieved promotion from Serie A and are set to hire Eusebio Di Francesco as their new manager. According to Marco Conterio of TMW, they have opened talks with Milan over Marco Brescianini, Lorenzo Colombo and Daniel Maldini.

Colombo spent last season on loan at Serie A side Lecce and did very well, but he’s still not ready to be a starter for Milan. Brescianini was at Cosenza and perhaps his departure could even be permanent, while Maldini was at Spezia.

It’s previously been reported that Milan want Colombo to join a Serie A side that will fight for the European spots next season and thus Frosinone might not be the right destination for him. It remains to be seen what will happen, in other words.
