Tuttosport: Denials arrive again from Louis Vuitton over Milan takeover; €1bn asking price set

By Oliver Fisher -

Bernard Arnault and the Louis Vuitton group have once again denied interest in buying AC Milan but Elliott Management have set their price, a report claims.

It was claimed in the media recently that Arnault – who recently became the richest man in fashion and has a net worth of over $102bn (as per Wikipedia) – is interested in buying the Rossoneri from Elliott.

A spokesperson of LVHM (the Louis Vuitton group) then denied the speculation, but yet more rumours then emerged on Saturday from newspaper il Corriere Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), who claimed that Arnault is still interested in the idea of buying Milan.

However, Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews.it – reports that yet more denials have come from LVHM regarding the latest round of rumours.

Nonetheless, Elliott have interestingly set their asking price for the club, and have made it clear that negotiations would start at €1billion.
