Tuttosport: Milan yet to make final decision on Szoboszlai – the situation

By Isak Möller -

The unexpected decision to renew Stefano Pioli’s contract has inevitably changed many strategies for AC Milan. As Ralf Rangnick was expected to be in charge of the market, new plans are now being made.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it) the Rossoneri’s interested in Dominik Szoboszlai could change. The Salzburg midfielder seemed blocked by Ralf Rangnick who was ready to take the Hungarian with him to Milan.

However, due to the cancelling of the German’s arrival, Szoboszlai could disappear from the Rossoneri’s radar. In reality, they haven’t made a decision on the matter yet but it will be difficult to sign him without Rangnick’s help.

In the next few weeks, Milan will have to make a final decision. Then again, it must be said that Zvone Boban – Milan’s former Chief Football Officer – was the first to be interested in the midfielder, nearly signing him back in January.

  1. If they actually want to buy him there really shouldnt be any issues as both this site and others has kept posting numerous articles that he has a release clause in the vicinity of 24 mil so unless that is time limited or qactually not correct milan should be able to still buy him with no huge issues.
