Tuttosport: Milan’s stance on Ibrahimovic; €42m Real Madrid midfielder could arrive

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign a Real Madrid playmaker on loan in January and have set their stance over Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims.

Rumours have been rife in the media that Milan may look to bring Ibrahimovic back to the club in January with the directors determined to add some experience to a youthful squad, as we exclusively revealed.

Over the weekend, Spanish outlet Marca reported that Zlatan is ‘likely to return to Milan for another spell’, the other outlets have denied the Rossoneri’s interest in the big Swede.

According to Thursday’s edition of Tuttosport – as cited by Calciomercato.com – Milan are ‘resisting the suggestion’ of re-signing the 38-year-old at present, that presumably referring to fans on social media pleading with the club to bring him back.

On the other hand though, Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz could arrive on loan in January, the report adds.

Marca recently claimed that Diaz has a ‘serious proposal’ from Milan ahead of a possible January move, with the 20-year-old struggling for game time this season having made just one LaLiga appearance.

He moved to the Bernabeu from Manchester City for a reported €24m.
