It’s been a season of ups and downs for Brahim Diaz, mainly struggling after Covid-19, but it seems he’s finding his stride again. He will get the chance from start again as AC Milan will face Salernitana tonight.
The Spaniard had a great start to the season and many believed it would be a fantastic campaign for the youngster. However, then he got Covid-19 and struggled to regain confidence as well as form after the stop.
In the last few games, starting with a great performance off the bench against Inter, he has been much better for Milan. That’s why, as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli continues to have faith in him.
He thought a lot about the No.10 role for this game, with Franck Kessie lurking, but eventually settled on Diaz yet again and you can understand that decision. Hopefully, the Real Madrid loanee will have another good game.
