Elliott-Arnault negotiations for the sale of AC Milan, here we go again? As Tuttosport (via milanlive.it) points out today on the newsstands, there would be a big clue in this regard.
This morning the Turin-based paper reported that Ariedo Braida could be on his way back to Milan and in this regard, the source also came with a hypothesis: what if Braida is a ferryman between the current ownership and the new one?
All this because the director was already linked with a return to the club in the last couple of months in connection to the reported negotiations between Bernard Arnault and Elliott for a potential takeover of Milan. There have been many denials in this regard, but it seems that the discussions have gone on.
In addition, the US fund has always talked about a 3-5 year project before selling the club. The two-year period will be completed next month, but when we approach the beginning of construction of the new stadium, it will be close to three and a new stadium would be a strategic factor for the potential new owner.
So if the negotiations continue positively, the situation could take off sooner rather than later. And Braida, at that point, would find himself as a reference man in the transition phase.
One can only hope!
