Milan continues to negotiate with the Chinese over the possible sale of the club.
Meanwhile, the identity of the coach for next season still remains a mystery. By the end of June, it’s hoped that both outstanding issues will be finally sorted.
There are two names vying for position as coach next season; Cristian Brocchi, who took charge of the first-team for the final few weeks of last season, and Marco Giampaolo, who did an excellent job in keeping Empoli in the top-flight.
The first candidate is the preferred choice of current President Silvio Berlusconi, the second one, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, is the man the Chinese would like in the role.
With Unai Emery now seemingly destined for PSG, Giampaolo is also the preferred choice of general manager Adriano Galliani and legendary former coach Arrigo Sacchi.
