AC Milan’s Primavera side secured a big win against Atalanta this afternoon as Marko Lazetic bagged a hat-trick. The Serbian striker seems to be in great form, just like the entire Primavera team.
After finishing first in their UEFA Youth League group, Milan’s Primavera side now also wants to do well in the league after a somewhat rocky start. Facing Atalanta today, they certainly started in the right way with a 4-0 win.
Marko Lazetic bagged a hat-trick and Gabriele Alesi opened the scoring in the first half. Milan had chances to score even more but you can take a look at the goals in the videos below, courtesy of Scout7Calcio.

So I’ve been watching a few Primavera games now, Lazetic is just hype.. he’s lanky and not exceptionally quick..if it’s any attacker it has to be Alesi that’s the best out of the crop. He’s quick, agile and u can tell he’s playing a different game than everyone else on the pitch
Lazetic is a striker, a center forward, Alesi is a winger.
That’s like saying Giroud isn’t exceptionally quick ,unlike Leao, who is quick and agile .
For a striker, more important is his positioning, moving between the lines, reading the game, finishing.
The kid can obviously finish with both feet and has the skill to beat his man of the dribble.
Alesi is also very good, but they are different players with different characteristics suited for their different positions
both of them can be backup for leao and giroud. more important things is play them both young player against cremonese this midweek.

No I’m saying the above position for position. That is, as a striker I’m less impressed with Lazetic as a striker than Alesi as a Winger. Does that make sense? Lazetic is slow and very clumsy looking but his positioning is good. But in the modern game you need pace. Gone are the days of players like Inzaghi at big clubs. Alesi is very very smooth and silky on the ball and has decent pace.
