In addition to performing well for Milan, a few players decided to impress with their respective national team as the international break is underway. Yesterday, a Rossoneri quartet was decisive.
Namely, Alexis Saelemaekers, Franck Kessie, Brahim Diaz and Rade Krunic. All four were heavily involved in the outcome of the game they played in. Saelemaekers got the ‘assist’ for Belgium’s only goal against Ivory Coast.

Kessie, however, spoiled his teammate’s joy as he equalised with a penalty for Ivory Coast late on. As always, the midfielder was extremely calm from the spot and waited until the goalkeeper made his move.

Brahim Diaz, playing for Spain’s U21 side, scored both goals against Farao Islands as they kept their spot at the top of their qualifier group.

Finally, Rade Krunic scored the opener for Bosnia against Northern Ireland with a nice finish, but the latter equalised and then won 3-4 on penalties.
