Yonghong Li set to become new AC Milan president

Chief representative of Sino Europe Sports Yonghong Li is set to become the new president of the club, while Silvio Berlusconi will reportedly refuse a proposition to become honorary president of Milan.

As reported by La Stampa‘s Laura Bandinelli, Silvio Berlusconi is ready to leave the club completely after 31 years in charge of the club. Thus, the Chinese offer to remain as honorary president will likely be rejected by Italy’s former Prime Minister.

The leader of Sino Europe Sports Yonghong Li, meanwhile, is expected to replace Berlusconi as the club president. He will arrive in Italy soon along with thirty other people including investors, partners and collaborants, as the closing of the club sale reaches is final stage.
