Today’s edition of La Gazzetta Dello Sport states that AC Milan are looking to bring in a top player before the summer transfer market closes.
Gazzetta claims that Milan are still in contact with James Rodriguez agent Jorge Mendes, whom they have a great relationship with. In fact, the Italian newspaper even suggests that Milan asked Real Madrid’s president about the Colombian during a meeting yesterday, as well as discussing Donnarumma.
As said, Milan have a great relationship with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes, who easily could persuade Real Madrid to sell the attacking midfielder to the San Siro side.
Moreover, Gazzetta also claims that should Milan fail to sign James Rodriguez, then they will look elsewhere, with Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Moura being their alternative.
Even though the new Milan management have suffered a big blow in Donnarumma rejecting their offer, they are still working impressively hard and it’s clear that their intentions are to bring Milan back to the big stage again.
