AC Milan hoping for Andre Silva discount – report

By Alex Viola -

Milan may have finally settled on one primary target for the attack after numerous rumours surrounding  Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti in recent weeks.

Alfredo Pedulla reports that the Rossoneri have made Portuguese international Andre Silva their primary target for the attack.

The Porto striker has a release clause of €60million for foreign clubs, which Milan can obviously afford. However, the Diavolo do not hope to spend that much money.

Milan hope to receive a €10million discount on Silva’s price due to problems with Financial Fair Play. The contacts between Jorge Mendes and Milan’s management are set to continue in the coming hours and days. Milan had a €36 million bid rejected by Porto recently and will submit a new and improved offer.

Mendes is a Portuguese super-agent who also manages James Rodriguez and Diego Costa, who Milan have also been linked with.

Silva, 21, has appeared in every match for his national team in World Cup qualifying, scoring six goals in those six outings.
