Sportitalia reports that Mirabelli is in Montecarlo to speak with Gigio Donnarumma and his agent Mino Raiola, in order to find an agreement on extending the youngster’s contract.
Sky Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio adds to the matter by saying that AC Milan have presented a mega offer to Donnarumma and Raiola. The former offer was valued at around €3m, but Sky Italia claims that this one is valued at €4.5-5m per season. Sky also claims that Raiola asked for a few days to discuss this with Gigio’s family, as well as adding a release clause to the contract. Mirabelli didn’t refuse or accept this, as Fassone wasn’t present.
Moreover, Donnarumma wants to stay at Milan, but his agent Mino Raiola is still hesitant as he wants to ensure the future of his client. With that said, it’s more than likely that Raiola will see this as an evidence of strength by Milan, who more or less already have secured three signings (Musacchio, Kessie, Rodriguez).
Meanwhile, La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Milan’s offer to Donnarumma is valued at only €3.5m. However, in terms of who to believe, Sky and Di Marzio are definitely more reliable.
