AC Milan ready to let Leonel Vangioni leave on loan

By Isak Möller -

The career of AC Milan’s Leonel Vangioni, who joined the club for free the summer, hasn’t taken off and according to the latest reports, the fullback is set to leave the club in January.

Despite the lack of playing time for the Argentinian, Gazzetta states that AC Milan still believe in the defender and are therefore only willing to let him go on loan. The Rossoneri are hoping for a similar outcome as with Suso or Niang, who both improved during loan spells.

The two potential destinations for Vangioni are Spain and Italy, as Sevilla and Genoa (of course) have shown their interest in the fullback. The contacts between Galliani and Genoa are continuous but there’s still no negotiations yet. One thing is for sure, AC Milan are hoping to loan out the player to later bring him back.
