Giacomo Bonaventura is hoping that AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Bologna at San Siro provides a ‘new beginning’ for the Rossoneri.
Bonaventura scored twice as Milan picked up their first league win at home in five matches.
“What mattered today was getting the victory, as we were coming off a period of intensive work without the results to show for it.” the midfielder told Mediaset Premium.
“We’ve got the quality players to keep the ball better and we tried to do that today. We hope it’s a new beginning for Milan. It was a good performance and we want to do better.
“I am happy. At the start of the year, I wasn’t in good shape, but I am slowly getting back to 100 percent. I’m glad for the two goals that I could help the team.”
Jack continues to grow in the red and black shirt every time he steps out and he doesn’t seem keen to stop.
